Hello and welcome to the BelBoBru website!

The aim of the website is to give you the reader an idea of what this thing called the BelBoBru project is really all about…

So, first of all, starting from the beginning. Bel Bo Bru. What’s in the name, you ask?

Well, BelBoBru is short for Belfast, Bologna and Brussels. So the name is an abbreviated form of the three city partners involved in the project.

The project began as an International exchange between artists and the sharing of their competences in the fields of puppetry, drumming and theatrical performance. Then, we thought it would be a good to create a show called “The Silence Performance”. It would bring together the three artistic disciplines under one performance and take place close to the end of the project, in October 2009.

So, this website was created to give you a rare glimpse of this merry human adventure and creative experiment called the BelBoBru project.
